We are thinking of going to Sequoia National Park for Spring Break this year. We like to take our vacations then, because it's less crowded. We have gone pretty far in the past, but this year we wanted to go somewhere closer. We figure the more we hike in the cooler it's gonna be, so we are practicing every week. This was the first Hike. We went up to Friendship Park and went around the trails behind it. When we got to the top you could see all of San Pedro, some of Long Beach, Palos Verdes and Catalina Island. It was really beautiful. The kids were not excited about going, but they had a great time in the end.

I told Abby and Tyler to smile for a picture and they just put their arms around each other and posed! I wish they would act this loving more often, it was just so sweet.
Jamie cannot hike for very long as it turns out, Toby was so nice of Toby to carry her for a little bit while she rested her legs.
